Police went and brought the unstable situation under control

It is learned that two persons were injured in a chase and clash between two factions of Chittagong University BCL.

On Tuesday (March 6), a clash broke out in the sociology faculty of the university at around 7.30 pm. After this, tension spread throughout the campus. With the intervention of the proctor and the police, the situation is under control but now the situation is tense in the entire campus.

Police say the two sides clashed over access to the Red Day concert of the university’s economics department. After the struggle, the leaders and workers of the Vijay group took the front in front of Suhrawardy Hall and the leaders and workers of CFC in front of Shah Amanat Hall. At that time, domestic weapons were visible in the hands of the leaders and workers of both the parties.

The two groups involved in the conflict are known to be the shuttlebug-based organization of the BCL and the followers of Deputy Education Minister Mahibul Hassan Chowdhury Navel.
