The External Affairs Minister garlanded the statue of Bangabandhu.
On the occasion of the historic 7 March, the External Affairs Minister paid tribute by garlanding the statue of Bangabandhu at Bangabandhu Corner of the Ministry of External Affairs on Monday morning. AK Abdul Momen Foreign Secretary Masood bin Momen and senior officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs were present at the time.
In a discussion meeting this morning at the Ministry of External Affairs on 7 March, the External Affairs Minister said that those who are intelligent can understand by listening to the speech of 7 March, Bangabandhu declared independence through this speech. He also said that Bangabandhu’s speech on March 7 has been translated into all official languages of the United Nations.
At that time AK Abdul Momen said, 7 March is being celebrated in 71 missions of Bangladesh. The External Affairs Minister said that this statement is important not only for Bengalis but also for other freedom-loving people.
