The Russian invasion of Ukraine has been going on for thirteen days in a row. Many civilians have already been killed in the war. Many people have taken shelter in bunkers. However, a large part is fleeing the country.

More than two million people have already taken refuge in neighboring countries to save themselves from the horrors of war. The British daily The Guardian published a statement on Tuesday (March 6), quoting the UN refugee agency UNHCR.

According to the report, most of the people from Ukraine are going to Poland. So far, more than 1.2 million Ukrainians have immigrated to the country.

Apart from this, more than 190,000 people have gone to Hungary. Some 140,000 Ukrainians have taken refuge in Slovakia. More than a million Ukrainians have also come to the Czech Republic. Most of them have come by car or train.
