The Telangana government will soon issue a notice to fill vacancies for doctors and nurses in the state, Finance Minister T Harish Rao said after attending a program on Saturday. Rao, who also holds the portfolio of Medical, Health and Family Welfare, said all hospitals will receive full staff and offer improved services. He also asked officials to speed up work for more equipment and facilities in the hospitals. Rao made the statement during a program at a city hospital here with employees.
Following the orders of Prime Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, efforts are being made to fill the posts of doctors and nurses. The finance minister also urged people to follow Covid-19 protocols. “The government is taking all measures to provide more equipment and facilities in all its hospitals in the state,” he said.
He said concerned officials had been instructed to speed up related work to fill health-related positions. Works for four departmental hospitals will soon begin in four directions of the city to provide services to people.
